History of ETEI Ragadi

Ragadipatana village is located in Banki tahasil of Cuttack District in Odisha, India. It situated 4km away from subdistrict headquarter Banki. In 1960, the government secondary training school Ragadi was founded. Ragadi village, in the Dampada Block of Cuttack, Odisha, is famous for its handloom sarees and weaving.

Its inside atmosphere is shady and green due to presence of many kinds of trees and orchards. The chirping of birds and the cool breeze of the river Mahanadi make its atmosphere pleasing and enjoyable.

Profile of the Institute:
The Government ETEI Ragadi, Banki, Cuttack was established in the year 1960 and known as Secondary Training school. In the year 2016, it was renamed as ETEI (Elementary Teacher Education Institution) which offer two years of Diploma in elementary education(D.EL.ED) course with intake capacity of 100 students in each year.
